I've played most the hardcore/professional/whatever modes in RE games but for some reason REmake2 got me pretty frustrated. I'm not sure if it was just me, but the hardcore mode just felt crazy difficult in certain parts compared to the rest of the series. I should note that I don't care for 0 or CV (X) to even try their hard modes (if they exist).Hardcore is the exact same as softcore meta-wise. Ret isn't brought into dungeons for their damage, it's the buffs and utility. You can do whatever talents and either get an alt gear set for healing, or do whatever damage you do as ret and off heal, but groups will take you because Paladin buffs are incredible, they're always welcome to groups.
