A reliable source informed me Klotz Original Techniplate is the oil used in 50 fuel, or whatever they're calling theses days. I ran R50 for two years without any real issues, it's great stuff. I have 2 saws. A husky 350 and a 372. The 372 mainly to get anything that the 350 can't because it's much easier on gas and easier to handle. First I soak the chain over night in a mixture of 1 cup of ammonia to 1 gallon of water. Remove chain and rinse in WD 40. Hang to dry. Then sharpen. Soak in oil over night, then hang to drip off excess oil. The chains look and feel like new !

Put a cup of dry laundry soap in a sock, with zip tie. Pack this with saw. It will absorb any stray vapors. Put saw power head inside 3 or more plastic bags. Thick ones. Pack it well. Put a tag on the saw, "drained, purged, and preped for shipping" with a signature, "saw tech".

It's an easy mod and works pretty good. Me, I like to uncrimp the muffler and pull the whole baffle system out of the muffler.
